Celebrating the spirit of interfaith charity and recognizing the human dignity of all persons, Open Door Outreach Center's primary mission is to provide emergency services (food, clothing, and referral information) to families in need.

Open Door may offer, as funding permits, other special assistance programs and supplemental services meant to improve the quality of life in the community. To meet its mission of service to families in designated townships of Oakland County, Open Door is dependent on generous, on-going support and funding from individuals, local businesses, corporations, religious, and civic organizations.

We service families in Waterford, White Lake, West Bloomfield, Keego Harbor, Sylvan Lake, Commerce, Walled Lake and parts of Wixom. Referrals from other agencies are also accepted. Families who live outside of our service area will find some help and referrals to agencies in their home area.

Food Pantry:
Open Door offers free food and clothing to qualified families in our service are who experience an emergency that prevents them from providing basic family needs. Our careful selection procedures ensures that assistance is provided to those with the greatest need.

Resale Store:

Clothing is available in infant, children, teen, and adult sizes. The public is welcome to shop in our Retail Store. All proceeds are used to support the operational costs of the Outreach Center.
