Since 1982, hundreds of men, women, and children have stepped forward to make the Open Door Outreach Center available to struggling families in our community. We simply could not exist without caring individuals who donate time and talent to those in need.

Consider Becoming an Open Door Volunteer

We have flexible hours and appreciate part-time helpers who can contribute as few as 4 HOURS PER WEEK. If you care about others and have a little time to share, we will provide meaningful ways for you to contribute.

Besides Volunteering, How Can You Help?
  • TELL SOMEONE about Open Door Outreach Center's services and about our Resale Store
  • RECYCLE your gently-used clothing at the Resale Store and shop there too!
  • DONATE non-perishable foods, paper products, and hygiene items to our Food Pantry
  • ORGANIZE A FOOD DRIVE at work, on your block, at your child's school, etc.
  • REQUEST AN OPEN DOOR SPEAKER for a group, class, club, etc.
  • VISIT OUR WISH LIST PAGE for specific items we are seeking.
